I went for my first run in a month and a half today! Hurray! That is most certainly a step in the right direction:)(Ha ha ha–a most unintentional pun). Granted my 8 minute mile took me 15 minutes, but hey, I am still pleased at the fact that I could run at all, and pleasently surprised that I am still alive. Dumb whooping cough…

The news of the day is that I am coming on staff at Calvary Church starting Monday, October 3rd. I'm scheduled for a nine-month interim pastorate in the area of Adult Life Development.

This has been a well-prayed decision and we believe the Lord is sending us to Calvary at this time. I will continue to minister uner Life Communities as well, with primary focus areas given to the Center City Chapel church plant and Charlotte Awake revival prayer work Uptown.

It's an exciting time.

We finally received Amanda's diagnosis. She has whooping cough, which apparently has been visiting in the Northwest among college campuses.

Thanks for your prayers for Amanda. We'll keep you posted.

This week Aunt Melissa and Cousin Michael are visiting from Massachusetts.
